If you want to read something I can recommend tea and chemo by Jackie Buxton - she has breast cancer but it's quite an uplifting book and I found her attitude and humour a relief from some of the other things I've read- hopefully all this reading will be irrelevant to you - good luck with the MRI on Wednesday x
